I found a couple things which can cause this. If your iPhone is completely unresponsive when you place it on the wireless charging pad you may need to perform a hard reset. If your iPhone 12 charges with some chargers but not others the issue is with the charger.

I cant get my iPhone 12 or my wifes iPhone 11 Max to charge longer for a few seconds before it starts blinking yellow and stops charging. People talk about how phones will get hot with any wireless charger--this is not the same. Try A Different Charger.
